Contains Boostbiotic, a complex of butyric acid and glutamine in enteric-coated tablets, which protect the contents from gastric juices, allowing for gradual release into the intestine. Glutamine is an amino acid present in the intestine; butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid normally produced by the intestinal flora, but supplementation is useful when deficiencies occur.
