These important ingredients support the horse with: Collagen hydrolysate type I It occurs naturally in skin, bones, cartilage, connective tissue, ligaments, tendons, blood vessels, hair, and hooves. It can reduce cushioning and promote joint lubrication to protect cartilage. Thanks to the special manufacturing process, all amino acids retain their high potency but are also more readily absorbed by the body. An exceptional 95% of ingested gelatin is absorbed within 12 hours. In addition to its positive effects on joint function, PrimeVal Gelatinate® also contributes to healthy coats and hooves. Collagen hydrolysate type II Collagen hydrolysate occurs naturally in the intervertebral discs, ribs, nose, larynx, trachea, and tracheal branches. When cartilage is damaged (e.g., in joints), the body reacts with an inflammatory response. Scientific studies have shown that collagen hydrolysate type II has a positive effect on pain relief in cases of inflammation. This, in turn, can have a positive effect on the horses mobility.
