It is based exclusively on pure lipids and is free of emulsifiers, preservatives, fragrances, and colorants. This makes it particularly suitable for sensitive skin areas where gentle, non-irritating care is paramount. The paraffins it contains form a protective film on the skin, reducing water evaporation and thus retaining natural moisture, leaving the skin feeling smooth and silky soft. Properties and care effect The oil contains high-quality isoparaffins of natural origin, as well as cold-pressed jojoba oil and meadowfoam oil. These plant oils are characterized by their very high resistance to oxidation. In addition to tocopherols, other antioxidants in meadowfoam oil contribute to effectively supplementing the skins own tocopherols. This is important for protecting the linoleic acid-containing ceramides of the stratum corneum barrier and supports the barrier function of the eyelids. Paraffin oils do not interfere with the natural lipid metabolism of the epidermis, thus enabling gentle and well-tolerated skincare. Application Preval Lipolid is applied sparingly to the eyelids using the roll-on applicator. Gently massage the oil into the eyelid skin to distribute it evenly.
