Prefolic IRON Description Food supplement based on iron present in three different layers (trilayer) and vitamin C, useful for filling nutritional deficiencies or increased organic needs of these nutrients. The first phase (Fast) ensures the start of release within the first 5 minutes and guarantees the absorption of 10 mg of iron in the first part of the duodenum. The second phase (Normal) allows for the onset of release within 45 minutes and allows for the absorption during duodenal transit of 10 mg of iron and 70 mg of vitamin C. The third phase (Retard) guarantees, over the course of 8 hours, a slow and sustained release of 10 mg of iron, ensuring increased absorption at the intestinal level. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal oxygen transport in the body. Vitamin C increases iron absorption and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the normal functioning of the nervous system. Both contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Recommended in all states of dietary iron deficiency.
