Ho wood is related to the Cinnamomum family, such as Ravintsara. Its full botanical name is Cinnamomum camphora QT linalool, which might lead you to think it is Ravintsara, but in fact it has a completely different chemotype. Ho wood essential oil is obtained by distilling the bark of a tree in China, also called Shiu wood or Chinese laurel. Ho wood essential oil (a close relative of rosewood) has excellent efficacy and optimal skin tolerance. Composition Cinnamomum camphora (L.)
