What is it and what is it used for? Pranarôm lovage is an essential oil obtained from the distillation of the root of Levisticum officinale. Lovage, also known as wild lovage, is a herbaceous plant used to help detoxify the body and facilitate the elimination of toxins. It also promotes skin toning thanks to its draining and diuretic properties. It is also used in the treatment of psoriasis. Pranarôm lovage is a chemotyped, 100% pure and natural essential oil. Lovage essential oil contains terpenyl, β-phellandrene, and myrcene in its composition. These molecules give it purifying, antipsoriatic, antiviral, anti-infective, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties. It also allows it to act as an anticatarrhal, expectorant, digestive tonic, and diuretic. Who is it for? Pranarôm Levístico is indicated for children from 6 years of age and adults. Instructions for use Oral use or ingestion of Pranarôm lovage essential oil is reserved for well-informed people or with a prescription from a doctor or therapist. For external use: mix 1 drop of lovage essential oil for every 4 drops of vegetable oil. To combat tiredness and asthenia: apply by massaging the lower back and along the spine. For psoriasis: apply to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day for 3 weeks. Take a 1-week break after 3 weeks of use before restarting the cycle, if necessary. For enterocolitis: apply to the abdomen after meals. Contraindications Pranarôm lovage can be fatal if swallowed and enters the airways. In case of accidental ingestion, immediately call a poison control center or doctor and do not induce vomiting. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Do not apply undiluted. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Keep Pranarôm lovage away from all sources of heat and light.
