Porus One Description Porus One is indicated for the health of your cats kidneys. Porus One contains a substance capable of reducing the availability of uremic precursors, such as indole and p-cresol, derived from dietary proteins. These precursors of uremic toxins are naturally produced by the digestion of proteins and amino acids by intestinal bacteria. After being reabsorbed in the intestine, the precursors are then converted in the liver into uremic toxins such as indoxyl sulfate and paracresyl sulfate, which must then be excreted through the kidneys. Toxins such as indoxyl sulfate and paracresyl sulfate are known to directly affect the kidneys. Due to the binding of uremic precursors in the intestine and their subsequent excretion in the feces, uremic toxins will not be formed. How to use The recommended dose of Porus One is 1 sachet (500 mg) per cat per day. Simply open the sachet at the top, sprinkle the product onto your cats food and mix. Porus One is suitable for cats of all ages and sexes. Porus One can be fed any type of food. If dry food is given, it is advisable to add a small amount (one teaspoon) of a binding ingredient, such as wet food. The cat should always have fresh water available.
