These products have been independently tested by laboratories in the United States to meet all applicable standards for children ages 3 and up. Due to the size of Glo Pals, the product is intended for children from 3 years and above. How long? Each individual Glo Pal lasts a minimum of sixteen hours of light. This means that the product turns on automatically when it is inserted into the bath and turns off automatically when the water is drained. Only the time the product is on will count towards battery life. on average, a Glo Pal should last a minimum of 30 days. We encourage you to read the storage question below to further increase longevity. Are the batteries replaceable? The batteries cannot be replaced. To meet applicable US safety standards, batteries are sealed to minimize the risk of suffocation. For us, safety is by far the most important - and we want to make sure your child is safe with our product. Even though batteries are not replaceable, friends are recyclable. A Glo Pal lasts on average 4-6 weeks How do we store Glo Pals when not in use? It is very important that Glo Pals are removed from liquid and dried when not in use. usually removing the friends from the liquid, giving them a quick shake and drying them will help increase the life of the friends. In three simple steps: take the cube out of the water, shake it and blow into the small spaces to remove the water, put it to dry. Bath bombs, bath salts, excess soap and shampoos can interfere with Glo Pals liquid activation and cause it to stay lit when removed from the water. If you have a stubborn Pal that still wont stop, put this Pal under warm water and then try blowing through the Glo Pals slots again to stop it.
