Product description Pine Smart Diapers for detecting urinary tract infections, size 2 mini, 3-6 kg Pine SMART is an innovative disposable diaper for children that enables the detection and monitoring of urinary tract infections in children by detecting nitrites in urine. Urine is a biological material that provides important information about a persons health and is therefore an essential part of routine screening tests. It is particularly valuable in the diagnosis and monitoring of urinary tract diseases and in diagnosing diseases affecting metabolic and systemic kidney function. This diaper is designed to screen for bacterial urinary tract infections by measuring nitrite levels, enabling early detection of urinary tract infections and helping to monitor treatment effectiveness. Disposable product. Principle and expected value: Gram-negative bacteria present in urine (the enzyme nitrate reductase) catalyze the conversion of nitrates to nitrites in the environment, producing a pink color. The Griess reaction principle, also used in urine strips, is also used in diaper rash strips that detect urinary tract infections. In an acidic environment, nitrite in urine reacts with p-arsanilic acid and undergoes diazotization. The resulting diazonium compound produces a pink color with 1N-(1-naphthyl)-ethylenediamine dihydrochloride. Nitrite is not detectable in normal urine. Storage: Store the product in its box. Make sure the box is not exposed to direct light. It is recommended to use it within one month of opening the package. How to use: 1- Use the product after cleaning your babys bottom to ensure there are no fecal residues left, or preferably after bathing your baby. 2- Remove the diaper from the closed box. 3- Keep the box closed until next use. 4- Put a Pine Smart diaper on your baby. 5- A pink discoloration that appears after the first urination indicates a urinary tract infection. 6- If the diaper color changes to pink, consult your babys health with a doctor as soon as possible. If only urine is present (in the absence of fecal residue), a pink discoloration visible on the outside of the diaper indicates that the urine contains nitrites, indicating that the child has a bacterial urinary tract infection. If you notice a pink discoloration on the diaper, contact your doctor or healthcare provider as soon as possible. Important information: The shade of pink that forms on the diaper does not provide information about the severity of the urinary tract infection. If the diaper doesnt change color even though your child is experiencing symptoms of a urinary tract infection (loss of appetite, restlessness, change in urine odor and color, insomnia, nausea, fever), it doesnt mean your child cant have a urinary tract infection. Continue using the diaper during this time, monitor for color changes, and consult your doctor about any of the above symptoms your child may be experiencing. Hygienic product for babies.
