Pic Post-operative silicone patch Description Sterile, non-invasive surgical dressing device with an absorbent pad in contact with damaged skin and an adhesive backing in contact with intact skin. Sterile adhesive dressing consisting of a non-woven fabric support coated with a hypoallergenic, highly skin-tolerant adhesive and a central absorbent pad. It has a fully silicone adhesive backing that ensures easy and painless removal. The transverse extensibility of the non-woven fabric that constitutes the support makes the dressing suitable for application even on joint areas and mobile parts. It has rounded corners to prevent accidental detachment. Very gentle when removed, it leaves no adhesive residue on the skin. The central pad is highly absorbent to protect any type of wound and absorb different levels of exudate. The part of the swab that comes into contact with the wound is made of a non-stick mesh that minimizes adhesion to the injured area. The pad and the adhesive edge are protected by silicone paper that can be easily removed before use. It is radiolucent, meaning it is not visible under X-rays. Available in a wide range of sizes, it is packaged in a single easy-open bag (see assortment). Sterilized by ethylene oxide. Bacterial load before sterilization <100 cfu/g. The product has passed the biocompatibility tests required by the ISO 10993 standard: cytotoxicity, allergic sensitization, skin irritation. Compatible with commonly used medicines and disinfectants.
