ACTION AND DESCRIPTION Sterile ophthalmic solution for irritation of the eyeball and eyelids. Symptomatic treatment of ocular surface irritations: - Irritation of eyelids and eyeball. - Adjuvant treatment of eye allergies by mechanical removal of allergens (pollen and other grasses, mites, household dust particles, hairs and pollutants) present at the level of the ocular surface, in order to avoid contact of these allergens with the conjunctival mucous membranes causing the allergy. - Adjuvant treatment of infectious or inflammatory pathology of the eyelids, conjunctiva and cornea - Eye hygiene and post-operative care (children and adults). COMPOSITION Sodium chloride 0.90 g Boric acid 0.27 g Sodium borate 0.02 g Solution with a neutral pH of 7.4. STORAGE AND EXPIRY Do not exceed the expiry date indicated on the outer packaging. Store at room temperature. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Two to four times a day, the irrigation is performed directly on the surface of the eyeball by pressing on the container until a small stream is obtained. It is recommended to pull the lower eyelid down and look up, then the upper eyelid up and look down, to distribute the solution evenly across the entire ocular surface and thus increase the volume of the tear film, hydrate the tissues, and remove dust particles and other impurities. The unit volume used will depend on the intensity of the eye discomfort to be treated. PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS It has no contraindications. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist for more than three days. The absence of preservatives allows this product to be used with soft contact lenses. If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice. Check the integrity of the single-dose container before use. The single-dose container should be used immediately after opening; discarded after use and should not be kept for later use. To avoid contamination, it is recommended to wash your hands before use and not to touch the funnel of the single-dose container with your fingers or eye. In cases of multiple local eye treatments, the effectiveness of eye drops or ointment may be compromised by the simultaneous instillation of the eye irrigation solution. It is advisable to wait 10 minutes between each eye instillation and always begin with irrigation using the ophthalmic solution unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
