Bandage for the management of full and partial thickness wounds with moderate to heavy exudate that may be prone to minor bleeding. Features Suitable for: Postoperative wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic wounds, cavitary wounds, graft and donor sites, fungal carcinomas, superficial and partial thickness burns. Do not use in patients with known allergy to alginates. Do not use on dry or necrotic tissue. It is not intended for use as a surgical sponge or to achieve hemostasis in heavily bleeding wounds. When used on infected wounds, the infection should be inspected regularly. If the dressing does not come off easily, soak it with saline solution and then remove it.
