Product description PASOMED Non-sterile cotton gauze compresses 7.5 x 7.5 cm, 17-thread, 8-layer Destiny : This non-sterile medical device can be used to cleanse intact skin. After sterilization, it can be used as a sterile device for direct dressing of damaged skin, acting as a mechanical barrier, and for absorbing exudates resulting from surgical procedures and trauma. Precautions: Before use, check the condition of the packaging – do not use if the packaging is open or damaged. During invasive procedures, use the product unrolled. If the dressing becomes saturated, replace it with a new one. Use no longer than 24 hours after application, or follow your doctors instructions. Use until the wound heals. This is a single-use product – reuse is prohibited as it may cause infection. Do not re-sterilize. After use, treat the product as medical waste – a potential source of infection. Contraindications : Do not use the non-sterile product directly on damaged skin. Information for medical personnel: Non-sterile device intended for sterilization. To sterilize, repackage the device in packaging appropriate for the sterilization method. Sterilize with steam at 121°C, 115+125 kPa, for 30 minutes, using a validated process.
