Their contribution is essential in maintaining the general well-being of the body, during the growth period in children and adolescents, as well as for supporting the bodys ability to exert effort and restore during convalescence. The skeletal system primarily needs calcium and vitamin D3, but for the use of calcium, magnesium is indispensable, as the two minerals are in permanent balance. The functioning of the muscular and nervous systems is in turn dependent on the balance between calcium and magnesium. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normalizes energy metabolism and contributes to maintaining electrolyte balance. The functioning of the immune system depends on the optimal intake of zinc, selenium and vitamin D3. Children over 12 years of age and adults: 1 tablet 2 times a day Recommendations: When taken together, calcium may reduce the absorption of certain medications such as fluoride, iron and phosphate preparations, levothyroxine, bisphosphonates, antibiotics such as tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones (ciprofloxacin). These medications should be taken at least four hours before or after calcium-containing products.
