In cases of nutritionally induced immunodeficiency Orthomol Immun is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). Orthomol Immun is used for the dietary management of nutritionally related immune deficiencies (e.g., in cases of recurrent respiratory infections). Use Orthomol Immun only under medical supervision. Orthomol Immun is a supplementary balanced diet and not a complete food. Application: Stir the contents of one sachet (= daily portion) into approximately 100-150 ml of still water or fruit juice daily and take before or during a meal together with a capsule from the blister pack. Note: To cover the specifically increased micronutrient requirements, long-term intake of Orthomol Immun is recommended. Orthomol Immun in the form of drinking vials is lactose- and gluten-free. Contains readily available carbohydrates and iodine. If you have impaired glucose tolerance, use this dietary food only under careful metabolic monitoring. If you suffer from hyperthyroidism, please consult your doctor before taking this product. Orthomol Immun does not replace any other medical therapy or medication. Taking Orthomol Immun can cause the urine to turn yellow. This is a harmless side effect and is due to the vitamin B2 content. Occasionally, the amount of vitamin C in Orthomol Immun can lead to looser bowel movements. Due to its properties and characteristics, the product is able to meet the specifically increased micronutrient requirements in this particular application area. Note regarding adjustment of requirements according to § 14b para. 5 of the German Dietary Foods Ordinance (DiätV): To avoid unnecessary calorie intake, the maximum levels of all micronutrients specified for energy-providing balanced diets are exceeded.
