Description: It alleviates the symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, even if associated with dry eye syndrome. It restores tear volume, removes allergens from the tear film on the ocular surface by inducing blinking upon exposure to the drops, and counteracts oxidative phenomena by enhancing physiological antioxidant mechanisms. Relieves the symptoms of mild to moderate dry eye syndrome, accompanied by itching, burning, foreign body sensation, redness caused by: - environmental factors such as: climate change, air pollution, dust, exposure to sunlight, dry or very hot air, air conditioning - mechanical stress, e.g. ineffective blinking due to prolonged use of a computer or long-term driving, studying, wearing contact lenses - age, menopause or postmenopausal period - physiological reduction in vitamin B12 absorption caused by diet - nutritional deficiencies, such as reduced or insufficient vitamin intake - inflammation of the eyelids. In this case, blinking after applying eye drops also helps remove any secretions accumulated on the lash line. OPTIDROP Allergy and Irritation Eye Drops, thanks to the combination of rosmarinic acid and vitamin B12, have an antioxidant effect, counteracting free radicals (formed on the eyes surface after sun exposure), which over time damage both the pigment epithelium and photoreceptors, triggering macular degeneration and causing clouding that leads to cataracts. Furthermore, thanks to its antioxidant action, the product protects the eyes from damage caused by UV radiation and blue light, both natural (sun) and artificial (such as computer, tablet, smartphone, and TV screens). OPTIDROP Allergy and Irritation Eye Drops is also indicated for frequent and long-term use. Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible polymer found naturally in many human tissues. Its viscosity and water-binding properties contribute to the products coating effect. It also increases tear volume. Rosmarinic acid and vitamin B12 are antioxidant substances that neutralize free radicals. This antioxidant effect occurs on the surface of the cornea. OPTIDROP Allergy and Irritation Eye Drops supports physiological and integrative antioxidant mechanisms and increases the water content of the tear film, ultimately maintaining or restoring ocular tissue trophism. Therefore, this product is particularly recommended for ocular allergies, dry eyes, or other eye discomfort caused by environmental or mechanical stress. It is also recommended for protection against UV radiation and blue light. Ingredients: sodium hyaluronate 0.12%, rosmarinic acid (extracted from Coleus forskohlii) 0.02%, allantoin, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerin, vitamin B12 0.01%, monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections. Dosage: Instill 2 drops into each eye. The contents of the bottle should be used within 3 months of first opening. Precautions: This product is intended for eye use only. For external use, do not swallow. The product should be used by one person. Do not use the product if the packaging shows signs of damage or leakage before first use. Do not use if particles and/or discoloration of the solution are visible. During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing edge of the container. If side effects occur during use, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. After using the product, the packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
