The test strips are used with the OneTouch Verio IQ and OneTouch Verio Pro blood glucose meters to quantitatively measure glucose levels in fresh capillary whole blood. Features The strips automatically draw a small amount of blood. Its easy to apply blood to either side of the OneTouch Verio test strip. The OneTouch Verio Pro and OneTouch Verio IQ Systems provide plasma-calibrated results that allow for easy comparison with laboratory tests. warnings Open the vial only to remove the test strips for testing. After removing a test strip from the vial, immediately and tightly close the vial cap. Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the vial. Do not use test strips from a damaged or opened vial. Write the discard date (date of opening plus 6 months) in the space provided on the vial label when you first open it. Do not use test strips after the expiration date (printed on the vial label) or the discard date, whichever comes first. Do not allow dirt, food, or liquids to get on the test strip. You can touch the test strip anywhere with clean, dry hands. Do not bend, cut, or modify the test strips in any way. Test strips are for single use only. Never reuse a test strip that has had blood or control solution applied to it. Before testing, make sure the meter and test strips are at approximately the same temperature. Apply only OneTouch Verio control solution or a blood sample to the test strip. After performing a test, do not put the used test strip back into the vial. Measurements should be performed as part of a medical examination. Conservation Store the vial in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Do not refrigerate. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
