Wait for the aspiration channel to fill completely. The drop of blood will be aspirated into the capillary channel and should fill completely. Conservation Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C. warnings - If there is condensation (water vapor buildup) on the meter, do not test. Before testing, move the meter and test strips to a cooler, drier location and allow the surface of the meter to dry. - Do not open the test strip container until you are ready to remove a strip and perform a test. Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the container, especially in high humidity environments. - Close the vial tightly immediately after use to avoid contamination or damage. Store unused test strips only in the original vial. - Do not put the used test strip back into the vial after performing a test. - Do not reuse a test strip that has had blood or control solution applied to it. Test strips are for single use only. - Do not test with a bent or damaged test strip. - You can touch the test strip anywhere with clean, dry hands.
