Linseed oil capsules with a high omega-3 content The flaxseed oil capsules contain pure flaxseed oil, obtained from the ripe seeds of flax (Linum usitatissimum) through gentle cold pressing. Flaxseed oil consists of approximately 90% unsaturated fatty acids. Of particular note is the essential omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which makes up an exceptionally high proportion of around 55%. ALA contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels when at least 2 g are consumed daily. In addition, the essential omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid and the omega-9 fatty acid oleic acid are present in significant amounts. Features and characteristics Each capsule contains 500 mg of pure, organically grown flaxseed oil, of which 250 mg is alpha-linolenic acid, 88 mg is linoleic acid, and 115 mg is oleic acid. The flaxseed oil is cold-pressed and mechanically filtered, but may naturally contain some suspended particles that settle in the capsule. These impurities do not affect the products shelf life or quality. Application and consumption recommendation Take 2 capsules daily with meals and plenty of water. Children under 12 years of age should take one capsule 3 times a day, preferably for several weeks. Do not exceed the stated dosage.
