HOLOPROTEIN H Description Food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of sarcopenia and as a protein supplement for patients receiving artificial nutrition. The product can be administered either orally or via nasogastric and/or PEG tube. The cows milk proteins used come from whey treated by a combination of ultrafiltration and microfiltration. The resulting protein concentrate is spray-dried and solubilized with lecithin (E 322). The final product is a powder containing approximately 92% protein on a dry matter basis, with a low lactose (<0.5%) and fat (including cholesterol) content. ingredients Whey protein isolate from cows milk , soy lecithin. It is important that the liquid in which you dissolve the powder is not hot, as heat can denature the proteins and compromise the chemical and physical properties of the product. USE FOR PROBE AND/OR PEG Dilute one or more sachets of Oloprotein H, as prescribed, in 200-250 ml of water and administer as a bolus via nasogastric or PEG tube. The solution can also be added to a nutritional bag and administered via a peristaltic pump, provided it is administered alone and without the addition of other nutrients. warnings Should only be used under medical supervision.
