Main product description The Vitamin C+ serum is a concentrated serum with 10% ethyl ascorbic acid (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid), i.e. a stable derivative of vitamin C, ferulic acid, vitamin E with the addition of troxerutin, hyaluronic acid and ectoine. The serum is suitable for all skin types, especially combination to oily and dehydrated, as well as for all those who prefer products based on hyaluronic acid. Ethyl ascorbic acid is one of the most stable vitamin C derivatives ever. It brings all the benefits of classic ascorbic acid with a different pH, which even more sensitive skin types will appreciate. It has significantly increased stability, but also better long-term efficiency. Ethyl ascorbic acid inhibits the activity of tyrosinase and prevents the synthesis of melanin in the skin, which prevents the formation and visibility of spots. It accelerates collagen synthesis, acts as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, so it helps reduce the impact of external factors on the skin (especially UV radiation, i.e. it has a photoprotective effect, so this type of serum is recommended to be used in the morning routine together with SPF). Ferulic acid and vitamin E are valuable ingredients in skin care, but in synergy with vitamin C they help maintain the stability and strength of this valuable ingredient. Ferulic acid has exceptional antioxidant properties and it is interesting that its effect is enhanced precisely by exposure to UV radiation. That is why it is useful in products that are applied in the morning with SPF. Vitamin E is a standard in cosmetics that aims to fight against premature signs of aging. As a bioflavonoid, troxerutin exhibits a number of valuable effects on the skin. It stimulates its renewal, reduces redness and supports the skins resistance. Equally important, it also increases the absorption of vitamin C into the skin. Ectoine perfectly supports skin hydration and strengthens it. Studies have shown that this type of amino acid has a demonstrable preventive effect against the photoaging effects of UVA radiation on the skin.
