Oleofarm black cumin oil is made from black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa), known as Egyptian black cumin. The oil was obtained by cold pressing, which gives it a characteristic smell and taste. Black cumin oil is high in unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated fats, which include omega-6 fatty acids. A fatty acid in the omega-6 family is linoleic acid (LA), which helps maintain proper blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs when 10 g of LA is consumed per day.
