The product is gluten-free and provides a high energy density of 1.5 kcal/ml, or 306 kcal per bottle. It is particularly suitable for children with cystic fibrosis, failure to thrive, fluid restriction (e.g., due to heart disease), wasting diseases such as cancer, and neurological conditions such as infantile cerebral palsy. Application and dosage Oral nutritional supplements should be used individually or according to a doctors recommendation. When exclusively fed, children generally receive the following amounts depending on their age and weight: 1- to 3-year-olds approximately 4 bottles per day, 4- to 6-year-olds approximately 5 bottles per day, 7- to 9-year-olds approximately 6 bottles per day, and children 10 to 12 years of age approximately 7 bottles per day.
