Echinacea is a flowering plant native to North America and widely cultivated in systematic pharmaceutical crops in Europe. Its root was traditionally used by the Native Americans of the Algonquian Plains as a therapeutic agent with immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral properties.
