Product characteristics This medical device, thanks to its flexible tip, enhances comfort during use. Due to its ability to take measurements in three locations: oral, axillary, and rectal, the electronic thermometer is considered the most versatile type of thermometer. A built-in audible warning system warns of high temperatures (above 37.8°C), informing you if a fever has been diagnosed. The thermometers casing is free of sharp edges and recesses, and the thermometer itself is ergonomic and easy to clean. Simple, single-button operation will be intuitive even for older individuals. The normal temperature range for this method is 35.7-37.3°C. Rectal temperature measurement: Before taking a reading, lubricate the probe tip with petroleum jelly to ease insertion into the rectum. Gently insert the probe tip approximately 1 cm into the rectum. The normal temperature range for this method is 36.2-37.7°C. Underarm temperature measurement: From a medical perspective, this method provides the least accurate reading. Before taking a reading, wipe the skin under the armpit with a dry towel.
