NAME NEO FORACTIL SPRAY, SPRAY SOLUTION 10 MG/G + 3 MG/G + 2 MG/G FOR EXTERNAL USE (For cage and aviary birds, dogs, cats and pet rabbits.) ACTIVE INGREDIENTS 1 g of product contains the active ingredients: piperonyl butoxide 10 mg; permethrin (cis/trans ratio 25/75) 3 mg; tetramethrin 2 mg. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1. EXCIPIENTS Acetone, isopropyl alcohol, balsamic essence, butane/propane (3.2-3.5). THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS Ectoparasiticide for external use in animals only, against mites, fleas and lice. CONTRAINDICATIONS / ADVERSE EFFECTS Do not use in puppies and rabbits under 3 months of age; Do not use in cats under 1 year of age. Do not use in sick, convalescent or seriously injured animals. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients. Do not use simultaneously with other pesticides. SAFETY IN TARGET SPECIES: In case of overdose, the following may occur: excessive salivation and respiratory secretions: administer atropine (0.02-0.5 mg/kg subcutaneously); tremors, convulsions, fasciculations: administer diazepam (0.5-1.0 mg/kg intravenously) repeatedly until the desired effect is obtained and/or methocarbamol (44 mg/kg intravenously) or pentobarbital (3-15 mg/kg intravenously slowly), repeated until effective, to control convulsions and fasciculations. Induction of diuresis by fluid therapy may promote the elimination of toxic metabolites and maintain/restore water-salt balance. DOSAGE: Dog: 2 to 4 ml of product/kg, depending on the length of the coat, equivalent to approximately 2-4 seconds of spraying per kg. The interval between treatments must be at least 3-4 weeks. Cat: 2 ml of product/kg, equivalent to approximately 2 seconds of spraying per kg. The interval between treatments must be at least 4 weeks. Pet rabbit: 3 ml of product/kg, equivalent to approximately 3 seconds of spraying per kg. The interval between treatments must be at least 3-4 weeks. Cage and aviary birds: 1 to 2 ml of solution administered per spray for a 15-20 g bird, depending on the severity of the parasitic lesions of mites and insects, equivalent to 1-2 seconds of spraying. The interval between treatments must be 1-2 weeks. 1 ml of product, equivalent to 1 second of nozzle pressure, contains the active ingredients: piperonyl butoxide 10 mg, permethrin (cis/trans ratio 25/75) 3 mg, tetramethrin 2 mg. Spray the product, holding the container approximately 5-10 cm from the area to be treated. The special valve allows the jet to be dosed without dispersion. Spray according to the animal, avoiding the eyes and mouth, on feathers, fur, ears and paws. Do not exceed the recommended dose. STORAGE: Keep out of the reach of children. Danger. Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: may explode if heated. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 degrees C. Pressurized container: do not pierce or burn, even after use. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames or other sources of ignition. Do not spray on an open flame or other source of ignition. Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 24 months. The expiry date indicated refers to the product in its intact packaging, properly stored. WARNINGS: Use the product according to the instructions for use. The use of topical products, especially if prolonged, may lead to sensitization phenomena; in this case, discontinue treatment and consult your veterinarian to establish appropriate therapy. Do not use for prolonged treatments; after a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your veterinarian. Special precautions for use in animals: The product is for external use only. During use, avoid spraying the product on the face, eyes, mucous membranes and inner ear. Do not exceed the recommended dose. During the first days of use, it is advisable to monitor the animal. Do not use excessive or inappropriate amounts of the product. Prevent the animal from licking its fur while it is still wet. Prevent animals from inhaling or ingesting the product. Use in a ventilated area and ventilate the room well before returning the product. Do not contaminate food, drink or containers intended to contain them. Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the product to animals: wear gloves when applying the product. Avoid swallowing the product during treatment. INTERACTIONS: No pharmacological interactions are known for this product; however, it is recommended not to use the product simultaneously with other pesticides. DIAGNOSIS AND PRESCRIPTION: Sale is not reserved exclusively to pharmacies and does not require a veterinary prescription. ADVERSE REACTIONS: Allergic reactions may occur in susceptible individuals.
