NAS-IR Nasal wash Isotonic solution CE 0476 medical device for nasal irrigation, indicated for daily hygiene by rinsing the nasal mucosa, for preventing blockages caused by phlegm accumulation or for those suffering from respiratory difficulties caused by conditions such as colds, coughs, sinusitis, postoperative conditions, ear infections, asthma, bronchitis, nasal polyps, allergens or environmental contaminants such as dust, smoke or fumes. Adjuvant in the treatment of nocturnal nasal obstruction. Intended use The device allows sterile, non-pyrogenic (isotonic) saline solution, contained in 250 or 500 ml bags, to flow into the nasal cavities (upper respiratory tract) by gravity or manual pressure. This device has an irrigation nozzle at one end that directs the jet of saline solution into the nasal passages, exerting a powerful cleansing action on the nasal cavities and nasopharynx, promoting the removal of any secretions, dust, allergens and chemicals that may be present. Dosage For adults and children (over 3 years old), 1 to 2 irrigations per day or according to various medical specifications are recommended. Instructions for use • Carefully remove the first protective bag from the bag. • Warm the solution bag to approximately 30-35°C by immersing it in hot water.
