ACTION AND DESCRIPTION Sterile hypertonic saline solution for inhalation. Increased mobilization of secretions in the lower respiratory tract due to an osmosis effect. It prevents dryness of the bronchial mucous membranes. It can be used with a pneumatic or ultrasonic nebulizer. Use your nebulizer system following the manufacturers instructions that came with the device. COMPOSITION Sodium chloride, purified water q.s. 100 ml. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The recommended dose of hypertonic saline solution for inhalation is one ampoule 2 to 4 times a day. Take out a single-dose container and open it by twisting its top. Pour the inhalation solution into the nebulizer. Use your nebulizer system according to the manufacturers instructions found on the device. PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS Single use. For inhalation only. Do not inject. Make sure the single-dose packet is not damaged before use. Do not use a damaged single-dose packet. Follow the instructions for use provided by the nebulizer manufacturer. In case of respiratory problems or excessive sensitivity, the inhalation solution should not be used without medical prescription. Do not mix with medications. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date. No opened container should be reused: since the product does not contain preservatives, reusing it would carry the risk of administering a contaminated solution.
