Pre Nan Stage 2 powdered milk formula, 400 g, Nestle PreNAN® Stage 2 is a food for special medical purposes, designed to ensure the optimal intake of nutrients needed by low birth weight infants and premature infants weighing more than 1.8 kg. The formula has a high caloric density and a balanced protein level, contributing to the infants growth recovery after discharge from the hospital. Use of PreNAN® Stage 2 after discharge, until approximately 9 months of age (depending on physician recommendation), may support faster growth in length and weight compared to standard infant formulas. Properties: Hydrolyzed proteins – easily digestible, suitable for the immature system of infants DHA and ARA – essential fatty acids that support brain development, vision and cognitive function MCT and structured lipids – provide a quick, easy-to-assimilate source of energy Bifidobacterium lactis (B. lactis) – beneficial lactic cultures that contribute to the formation of a healthy intestinal microbiota Consumption method: Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing infant formula. Wash the bottle, teat and lid thoroughly until all traces of the preparation are gone. Submerge them completely under water. Bring the water to a boil, turn off the heat and leave them covered until ready to use. If using a steam sterilizer, follow the manufacturers instructions. Boil drinking water and let it cool to a maximum of 40°C. Follow the preparation instructions carefully. First, pour the lukewarm water into the bottle. Then add the powder using only the measuring spoon, carefully leveling the extra powder. Close the container after each use and store it in a cool, dry place. Make sure the measuring spoon is dry and store it back in the box. Close the bottle and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved. Check the temperature before feeding your baby. The product must be consumed within a maximum of 4 weeks after opening the box. Precautions and contraindications:WARNING: Prepare only one bottle at a time. Feed the infant immediately and follow the instructions exactly. Do not keep an unfinished bottle, throw away any unused contents. Always hold the infant when feeding. If left unattended, the infant may choke. WARNING : Unboiled water, unboiled bottles, or incorrect dilution can make your baby sick. Improper storage, handling, preparation, and feeding can have adverse effects on your babys health. CONTRAINDICATIONS: PreNAN® STAGE 2 cannot be administered in case of GALACTOSEMIA, GLUCOSE-GALACTOSE malabsorption or in infants diagnosed with lactose intolerance or allergy to cows milk proteins. It is not intended for parenteral administration. IMPORTANT NOTE: PreNAN® STAGE 2 is a complete nutritional formula and can be used as the sole source of nutrition from birth, or from 6 months in parallel with complementary feeding.
