Merlin Collar 0.77g Dog 48cm External antiparasitic, recommended for dogs More information: Merlin Collar 1.04 48 cm. Antiparasitic collar with Deltamethrin, for the elimination of fleas, ticks and sand flies and prevention of Leishmaniasis and other diseases transmitted by these parasites. Instructions for use The medicated veterinary product offers: Continuous flea (Ctenocephalides felis) control activity for 16 weeks. Continuous tick (Ixodes ricinus) control activity for 6 months. Activity that prevents feeding and promotes the control of sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for 5.5 months. Contraindications Do not use on puppies under 7 weeks old, on dogs with skin lesions, in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Do not use on cats. Deltamethrin is harmful to cats. Adverse reactions In isolated cases, local skin reactions (itching, redness, hair loss) have been observed on the neck or on the skin in general. In very isolated cases, altered behavior (e.g. lethargy or hyperactivity) has also been reported, frequently associated with skin irritation. In very isolated cases, gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and sialorrhea have been observed. In very isolated cases, neuromuscular problems such as uncoordinated movements and muscle tremors have been observed. Symptoms usually disappear within 48 hours of removing the collar. If any of these symptoms occur, the collar should be removed and it is advisable to contact a veterinarian. Check periodically and adjust easily by pressing the top of the buckle and sliding the collar into the correct position. Waiting time: Not applicable. Special storage precautions: Keep out of the sight and reach of children. This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use this veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date shown on the carton after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of the indicated month. Shelf life after opening the primary sachet: Use immediately. Keep the sachets in the outer packaging. Special warnings for each target species The collar reaches its maximum effect after one week, therefore it should be put on 1 week before the animals can be exposed to the infestation. Ticks and sand flies die and fall off the dog within 48 hours and 24 hours, respectively, after exposure, generally without having sucked blood. Formats: Cardboard box with 1 or 2 necklaces.
