Lingonberry is a dwarf shrub widespread in mountainous areas, at altitudes above 1300 m. It comes from the northern hemisphere, where it was the basic diet of the Vikings Urinary aseptic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, diaphoretic (produces sweat), astringent, expectorant, antitussive and antioxidant.
