COMPOSITION It is a silicone sheet for scar treatment: A thin, flexible, laminated dressing (polyurethane and nonwoven fabric (viscose)) covered with a silicone gel with selective microadhesion. The silicone cover is protected by a polyolefin protective paper. The polyurethane cover (in contact with the outside) makes it impermeable to liquids but permeable to gases, allowing the skin to breathe. STORAGE AND EXPIRATION Sterility is guaranteed by the integrity of the inner packaging until opened. Do not resterilize. INDICATIONS Treatment of both old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars. It can be used as a preventative method for closed wounds to prevent the appearance of hypertrophic and keloid scars. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Open the package and remove the dressing. Cut the dressing, if necessary, to the appropriate size, leaving at least 1 cm extra. Check that the area is dry. When used with creams, ensure the sheet fully covers the area. Remove the backing paper and place it over the scar. Avoid stretching it when applying to joints. It can be worn 24 hours a day. It should be removed once a day to inspect and clean the skin. The dressing can be reused. It should be changed every 3-7 days, or when its adhesive properties are insufficient. It is water resistant. PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS If maceration or a rash appears, let the skin rest until symptoms disappear, then continue treatment, gradually increasing the duration. If symptoms persist, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
