Our insect menu - a high-quality protein source for a globally conscious future. We are constantly striving to improve our balanced and globally conscious food concept. A healthy and sustainable diet for tomorrow, one that also protects our planets resources, lies in the processing of insects. Our new Insect Delight menu is a hypoallergenic complete food, ideally suited even for sensitive dogs. Many dogs today suffer from so-called food intolerances. They react to common meats such as chicken, turkey, or beef – as well as grains, soy, or dairy products. But the frequently used binders, fillers, and flavor enhancers (especially in dry food) can also cause problems. The symptoms of a food intolerance are varied – for example, stomach problems or gastrointestinal upset, vomiting, nausea, gastritis, reddened skin, dermatitis, itching, anal itching, hair loss, digestive problems/diarrhea, weight loss, and problems with the ears and/or anal glands. An elimination diet limited to a previously unknown protein source can be perfectly implemented with our Insect Delight . However, please always remember that absolutely nothing else – not even a single small treat – containing any other animal protein should be added. We have also deliberately omitted potatoes and parsnips, as some dogs are now very sensitive to these. Furthermore, our Insect Delight is grain-free and low in carbohydrates, which is important, for example, if a Giardia infection has been diagnosed. A low-carbohydrate diet is essential to support treatment. Why worldly-conscious? In Germany, there are approximately 9.4 million dogs, and because our pets also leave their carbon pawprint, a significant contribution to environmental protection can be made by consciously reducing meat consumption. We at napani believe that less meat on our plates and in our bowls is a responsibility that concerns us all. Three of our employees are vegan, and therefore it has always been difficult for us to come to terms with the fact that other animals have to die for our beloved pets. A dog can be very well fed without meat (taking nutritional needs into account) – but not all dogs like it. The mucilage stimulates digestion and relieves constipation, while also acting as a binding agent and helping with diarrhea.Organic turmeric: it contains various essential oils and the polyphenol curcumin.
