Mediderm® Shower Emulsion MedidermDusch-Emulsion is a liquid product from Spreewälder Arzneimittel GmbH. Mediderm® Shower Emulsion is a non-foaming emulsion specially developed for the care of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and atopic dermatitis (neurodermatitis). Mediderm® Shower Emulsion has a pH value suitable for irritated skin, contains no fragrances or dyes, and can therefore be used from the first month of life. Dermatologically and microbiologically tested. Gently cleanses irritated and sensitive skin; maintains the skins natural lipid layer; keeps the correct moisture level up; prevents excessive drying of the skin and flaking; prepares the skin for the application of other products such as Mediderm® Cream; free of irritants; contains no sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), parabens, fragrances, or dyes and can be used from the first month of life. Mechanism of action: Mediderm Shower Emulsion contains gentle cleansing agents instead of conventional soap, effectively cleansing the skin without irritating or drying it out. These are surfactants that reduce the surface tension at the interface of the phases (Cetomacrogol 1000, Tween 20, Span 20) without producing lather. The liquid paraffin and glycerin components moisturize and lubricate, forming an occlusive film on the skins surface to prevent moisture loss. Instructions for use: Apply to the skin and spread gently. Rinse off in the shower and gently dry the skin with a towel. Avoid unnecessary rubbing. Mediderm® Shower Emulsion leaves a delicate protective film on the skin. This product is particularly suitable for: normal skin, dry skin, very dry skin, combination skin, sensitive skin, atopic skin, flaky skin, itchy skin, irritated skin, neurodermatitis, couperose, oily skin. Ideally, store the liquid out of the reach of children. The storage temperature should be room temperature. Warning notices: The product may leave a slippery film on the surface of the bathtub or shower tray. Do not use after the expiration date. Discontinue use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, you can use this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
