MD-SHOULDER Description Medical device based on porcine type I collagen for reducing pain and improving joint mobility of the shoulder and upper limb. How to use - Periarticular: insert the needle close to the joint to a minimum depth of 13-25 mm. - Intraarticular: the needle is inserted under the lower edge of the posterior angle of the acromion, in the direction of the coracoid process. RECOMMENDED NEEDLES - Periarticular: 26G x 25 mm needle. - Intra-articular: 22G x 32 mm needle. Note: Perform a thorough skin disinfection with povidone iodine or chlorhexidine. THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL 1-2 injections per week to limit physiological or pathological damage to the shoulder joint, elbow and surrounding tissues. Results are already evident from the third week, but depending on the patients clinical situation, treatment can be safely continued until the tenth week. components Porcine collagen, Iris versicolor, sodium chloride, water for injections. warnings Shoulder pain requires differential diagnosis with chronic cervical syndrome, ischemic heart disease (acute/chronic, left shoulder only), cholecystitis/cholelithiasis (right shoulder only), cervicobrachialgia, and trapezius muscle trigger point. Slight redness at the injection site may be caused by the mechanical effect of the needle or a skin reaction. Application may cause burning/pain at the injection site, which generally disappears within 5-10 minutes after treatment. Skin cleansing/disinfection is necessary before and after application. Pyogenic bacteria may cause an abscess at the injection site. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
