Insert new batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring that the polarity is correct. Close the battery cover. Use only LR03 or AAA batteries. When the low battery indicator flashes on the display, replace the batteries. Do not mix old batteries with new batteries. This may shorten the battery life or cause the device to malfunction. Use only the specified batteries. The batteries supplied with the device are for testing the monitors performance and may have a shorter lifespan. Replace the used batteries with their polarities in the correct direction. If you will not be using the unit for a long period of time (approximately three months or more), remove the batteries. Attaching the cuff to the arm Wrap the cuff around your arm, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow. Place the cuff directly on your skin, as clothing can cause a weak pulse and lead to inaccurate measurements. Constriction of the upper arm, caused by rolling up the sleeve of a shirt or T-shirt, can prevent accurate measurements from being obtained. Secure the cuff with the Velcro strap so that it is comfortable and not too tight. Place your arm on the table (palm up) so that the cuff is at the same height as your heart. Make sure the tube is not kinked. Blood pressure measurement To measure your blood pressure, sit comfortably without crossing your legs, with your feet flat on the floor. Remain still and quiet during the measurement. Press the ON/OFF button; all icons will appear on the display for two seconds, then switch to measurement and display “0” or the last measurement record. Start measurement; the cuff will inflate automatically. The heart symbol will flash on the LED. After the measurement is complete, the results will appear on the display. Measure your blood pressure at about the same time every day. Do not measure immediately after exercise or bathing. Rest for twenty to thirty minutes before taking the measurement. Cleaning and maintenance Clean the monitor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use cleaning solutions. Do not immerse the device or any component in water. Clean the bracelet after each use. Thoroughly wipe the inside of the bracelet (skin contact) three times with a soft cloth, slightly moistened with 75% ethyl alcohol. Replace the cloth after each use. Do not measure on the arm that has been simultaneously monitoring with ME equipment, otherwise functionality may be lost. Batteries with liquid on the surface or that have been modified cannot be inserted into products. Short-circuiting the battery must be avoided.
