MateRegen Gel, 5 ml, BioRegen BiomedicalProperties: - it is indicated for use in patients after hysteroscopic surgical procedures, as a barrier in the prevention and reduction of post-surgical intrauterine adhesions; - acts by filling intrauterine cavities following surgery, keeping the traumatized surfaces separate during the healing process and acts as an adjuvant in the natural healing process. How to use: 1. Open the protective packaging and insert the syringe into the operating field, using normal aseptic techniques used in the operating room. 2. Remove the protective cap from the tip of the syringe and connect the syringe to a compatible cannula, for example an 18 gauge cannula or a larger intravenous catheter. An injection cannula is provided in the MateRegen Gel Type II box. 3. After hysteroscopy surgery or other intrauterine procedures, insert the cannula into the bottom of the uterine cavity and by pressing the plunger, slowly instill enough MateRegen Gel to fill the entire uterine cavity. 4. To avoid gel leakage, do not irrigate the uterine cavity after applying the gel, unless doctors decide to do so. Ingredients: Hyaluronic acid-based gel. Precautions: 1. Make sure that the operated area is not bleeding excessively. Excessive bleeding must be stopped before instilling MateRegen Gel. 2. MateRegen Gel does not have antimicrobial properties; it does not have a bacteriostatic effect on pre-existing infections nor does it prevent the development of other infections. In the case of pre-existing infections, appropriate treatment should be established. 3. The concomitant use of MateRegen Gel with other anti-adhesion devices has not been evaluated. 4. MateRegen Gel has not been evaluated in patients with malignant tumors. 5. It is recommended to avoid pregnancy during the first complete menstrual cycle following treatment with the product. 6. MateRegen Gel is supplied in prefilled syringes for single use. The contents of the syringe are supplied sterile only. The syringe is packaged in a protective blister pack or Tyvek pouch to prevent contamination of the external surface and to allow for use of the devices in the operating room. Do not resterilize the contents of the syringe. 7. All device assembly operations must be performed in the operating room. 8. It is recommended that the product be used immediately after opening the protective packaging. 9. The syringe is for single use only and unused product and the empty container should be disposed of properly. 10. Do not inject intravenously. 11. Do not use after the expiration date. 12. Do not use the product if the protective packaging is damaged and contact your local distributor. 13. MateRegen Gel should be used according to the instructions for use. Read the instructions before use. 14. For the type II product, for which the Injection Cannula is provided, when the gel expiration date is exceeded, the cannula will no longer be usable.
