It contains a patented liquid composed of gallium, indium, and tin, called galinstan. Safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Features High precision thermometer (+0.1°C/-0.15°C). The product complies with European Union Directive 2007/51/EC of 25 September 2007, as it does not contain mercury. Instructions for use 1) Before starting the measurement, make sure that the liquid column is below the first numbered mark (between 35°C and 36°C). 2) Disinfect the thermometer before and after each use. 3) Position the thermometer according to the type of measurement (axillary, rectal, oral). 4) After about 4 minutes, the thermometer will have detected your body temperature. To read the temperature, slowly rotate the thermometer back and forth. The liquid in the glass capillary tube of the thermometer indicates the body temperature displayed on the thermometer scale. 5) To reset the thermometer at the end of the measurement, hold it firmly on the side opposite the bulb and shake it firmly by moving your wrist downward 15 to 20 times to replace the liquid in the bulb. Special precautions The storage temperature of galinstan glass thermometers should not be lower than -15°C or higher than +42°C.
