LITHOS sachets should be administered, preferably on a full stomach, dissolving the sachet in a glass of water. For other indications (kidney stone prevention), follow your doctors prescription. warnings Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. LITHOS BUSTE is contraindicated in patients with hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia or conditions that may predispose to the occurrence of these plasma changes. These conditions include chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus. Concomitant use of LITHOS BUSTE and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) may cause hyperkalemia. Therefore, monitoring of potassium levels is recommended. There are no known interactions with other medications. Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhoea may occur during treatment.
