Lenicet® ointment Characteristics: Lenicet® ointment cares for and protects sensitive skin. It consists of a particularly skin-friendly ointment base containing Lenicet® (aluminum diacetate hydroxide) and algedrate (47.0-60.0% Al2O3). Its mild disinfectant and astringent properties provide good protection. After application, Lenicet® ointment forms a thin film of aluminum acetate with the skins natural secretions, which regenerates and stabilizes the skins acid mantle. Lenicet® ointment protects against physical and chemical influences. It offers good skin protection at work and at home by reducing contact with skin-damaging substances. Lenicet® ointment has also proven effective for the care of particularly sensitive body parts of infants and small children, as well as for the care of inflamed skin areas of bedridden patients. The ointments ingredients cleanse, protect, and nourish the skin. The cooling effect is particularly pleasant in cases of inflammation. Healthy skin becomes soft, supple, and resilient. Lenicet® ointment is mild and free of irritants. It can therefore be applied several times a day. Special notes: Lenicet® ointment should not be applied to open or bleeding wounds.
