Description Lavender flower ( Lavandulae flos ) is a traditional herbal medicinal product, taken orally as a decoction. The herb is used as a mild sedative for nervous tension, difficulty falling asleep, and as a digestive aid. The product is available in packages containing 50 g of dried flowers. Composition 100% lavender flower ( Lavandulae flos ). Dosage Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Add 1 teaspoon of lavender flowers (0.8 g) to a cup (150 ml) of boiling water. Cover and let steep for 10–15 minutes. Then strain. Drink 1 cup of warm infusion, up to 3 times daily. Always use freshly prepared infusion. Indications Indications for use: As an aid in states of nervous tension, irritability and difficulty falling asleep; In digestive ailments such as flatulence and a feeling of fullness; Externally: in case of mild skin inflammations and for relaxing baths. Contraindications Do not use the medicinal product in case of hypersensitivity to lavender or other plants of the mint family ( Lamiaceae ). Side effects None known to date. If you experience any side effects, please inform your doctor. Warnings and precautions Do not use in children under 12 years of age without consulting a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
