Apply sunscreen correctly and in the right amount. Avoid sun exposure during the hottest hours of the day. Dont stay out in the sun for too long, even when using sunscreen. Avoid exposing young children and infants to direct sunlight; have them wear protective clothing; and use sunscreen with a high SPF (above 30). Excessive exposure to the sun is a serious health risk.
