Spinning wheel ladys mantle tea Ladys mantle grows as a perennial herbaceous plant, reaching 30 to 50 cm in height, and is found throughout the northern hemisphere. It inhabits damp meadows, stream banks, fields, open woodlands, and gardens. Its flat, spreading leaves are folded into five to nine lobes, serrated at the edges, and softly hairy. It has small, yellowish-green flowers that grow in corymbose panicles. Ladys mantle is harvested from May to August; only the leaves with stems are collected during the flowering period when the dew has dried.
