A hydroactive ointment with 40% medical grade honey as an active ingredient for healing wounds and pressure ulcers. It has a thick consistency and offers antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory action. Its composition includes: Vitamin C, which promotes the synthesis of collagen and connective tissues. Vitamin E with strong anti-inflammatory and immunological properties. Improves the healing process. Hypoallergenic lanolin, which promotes wound epithelialization. Polyethylene glycols that promote wound epithelialization. pH: +/- 3-4 to promote healing. Directions Natural cleansing and healing of ulcers, wounds and minor burns or areas of sensitive skin. Healing of burns caused by radiotherapy, thermal, chemical, as well as erythema multiforme in infants and adults. Healing of grade 1 and 2 pressure ulcers with or without watery necrosis. Healing of diabetic, venous, arterial and varicose ulcers. Postoperative wounds that are not infected or are infected in sensitive skin areas, graft removal sites, tracheostomies, etc. Instructions for use It is recommended to clean the ulcer with saline solution before each change, especially in the case of infected ulcers. It is always accompanied by a secondary absorbent dressing, e.g. gauze, foam, non-woven material, mesh, etc. The application of the ointment to the ulcer should completely cover both the inner surface of the ulcer to a thickness of approximately 1mm and its skin perimeter. The completion of the ulcer cleansing phase may be accompanied by increased lymph flow from the base of the ulcer, which signals the natural restoration of blood flow and initiation of angiogenesis and should not be considered alarming. Until the completion of the cleansing phase and sanitization of the ulcer from possible infection, a daily change is recommended. In the next stage and until complete recovery, the recommended time for keeping the product on the ulcer is determined to be 1-3 days, depending on the condition of the ulcer.
