These pheromones, with an action similar to those naturally secreted during canine motherhood, help control inappropriate behaviors in dogs. These behaviors are generally a consequence of stress and anxiety in challenging situations and manifest, for example, as howling, destruction of furniture and objects, and elimination of urine and feces in inappropriate places. Compared to natural pheromones, M2 pheromones have greater stability, diffusion rate, and residual effect in the environment. SERENEX® works with both puppies and adult dogs. It is a drug-free solution recommended by veterinarians for behavioral problems. It can be used in conjunction with other medications or treatments. Instructions: SERENEX® Canine Diffuser is recommended in situations such as: Weaning and adaptation to the new home. Fear of loud noises such as thunder and fireworks. Anxiety during moments of solitude (howling and barking when left alone at home). Compulsive behaviors (excessive licking and self-harm). Destructive chewing. Elimination of feces and urine in inappropriate places. Excessive vocalizations (continuous barking, howling, etc.). Stress about moving to a new home. Stress caused by changes in the environment, such as new furniture or remodeling. Stress when socializing with other dogs. Stress when a new member arrives in the home (birth of a baby, adoption of another animal). Application Method: Each bottle of SERENEX® Canine Diffuser lasts approximately 4 weeks with continuous use. It is ideal to place the diffuser in an electrical outlet away from drafts or open windows. Excessive humidity and ventilation can affect the diffusion of the pheromones, interfering with the products effectiveness and duration. SERENEX® Canine Diffuser covers an area of up to 70 m2. It is recommended to apply the lowest intensity for areas between 30 and 40 m2, the medium intensity for areas between 40 and 50 m2 and the highest intensity for areas between 50 and 70 m2. In case of serious behavioral problems, adjust to the highest evaporation intensity, regardless of area size. The diffuser unit should be replaced after 6 months of use and/or after using 6 refills to ensure proper liquid evaporation. Unscrew the cap from the liquid refill and screw it into the diffuser unit, centering the wick so that it fits into the center of the circular heating element inside the unit. Do not touch the wick with your fingers. Ensure the bottle is securely attached. Always plug in the unit with the refill in a vertical position, rotating the plug if necessary to align it with the wall outlet. The unit has an on/off switch and an intensity adjuster to regulate the evaporation level. An indicator light on the unit will show when it is in operation. When the liquid runs out, replace it exclusively with SERENEX® Canine Diffuser refill. One 42 mL bottle lasts approximately 30 days. When not in use for extended periods, unplug the unit, unscrew the refill, and replace the cap to prevent evaporation.
