KELO-COTE spray reduces, fades and smooths scars, relieves itching, discomfort and pain associated with scars and reduces scar discoloration. Silicone gels have been shown to be effective in treating abnormal scars in the form of hypertrophic and keloid scars. KELO-COTE spray is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from trauma, accidental injuries, surgical interventions and burns. KELO-COTE Spray can be used on joints, folds, hairy areas and large scars, such as those caused by burns or major trauma. Suitable for use on children over 12 months of age and people with sensitive skin. How to use Shake well before use. Make sure the affected area is clean and dry. Remove the cap. Hold the container 15-20 cm from the area to be treated. Spray along the scar with a light, sweeping motion. KELO-COTE Spray should be applied twice daily in a very thin, even layer to the affected area. Allow to air dry before applying sunscreen or cosmetics. Replace cap after use. KELO-COTE Spray should dry in 4-5 minutes. If KELO-COTE Spray clumps, drips, or runs, you may have oversprayed. Gently wipe off the excess and allow to dry. The minimum recommended treatment time is 60-90 days.
