Kelo-cote UV reduces redness and hyperpigmentation caused by the sun and improves the appearance of scars. It can be used on all scars resulting from surgery, trauma, wounds and burns. Whether the scar is the result of a sutured incision or the natural healing of a wound, it must be protected from the sun during the entire healing process (the period in which it remains red or pink), which can last from 6 months to 3 years depending on the case studied. If a fresh or recent scar is not protected from the sun, hyperpigmentation of the scar may occur. Kelo-cote UV is ideal for the face, hands, neck, chest and all other areas exposed to the sun.
