Traditionally, juniper tea is used as a diuretic and antiseptic in urinary disorders. Ingredients: The fruits of the shrub Juniperus communis L., fam. Cupressaceae, contain volatile oil, sugars, bitter substances, flavonic glycosides, tannins. Effect: Diuretic, sudorific, depurative, disinfectant of the urinary, digestive and respiratory tracts, stomachic (stimulates the secretion of gastrointestinal juices), carminative (helps eliminate intestinal gases).
