Joyflex 2% is a sterile, biodegradable, isotonic injectable gel for intra-articular use. The medical device in a pre-filled bottle contains stabilized hyaluronic acid with a concentration of 20 mg/ml in a physiological buffer. Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound found throughout the body and is the main component of a healthy joint and properly functioning tissue. It is traditionally used for injections in degenerative joint diseases: relieves long-term pain, facilitates the normalization of the viscosity of the synovial fluid located in the intra-articular cavity, protects the surface of the articular cartilage.
