How to choose the right size of JOBST compression stockings - STEP by STEP measurement The therapeutic effect of medical compression products depends largely on the correct selection of their products, so their proper fit is crucial. The measurement should be taken in the morning when the legs are less swollen than during the day. Step 1: measure the circumference of your leg at the points indicated in the table: cB – circumference of the leg at the narrowest point just above the ankle, cB1 – circumference of the calf in its lower part (halfway between the center of the calf and the ankle, i.e. points cB and cC), cC – circumference of the calf at its widest point, cD – circumference below the knee (two fingers below the patella). cG – thigh circumference (two fingers below the buttocks). Step 2: measure the length of the leg (LG dimension) – we measure from the base of the leg to the cG point (thigh circumference measurement point – 2 fingers below the buttocks).
